My Main Street Local Business Accelerator Program Ultimate Recipient List

The Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO) is proud to announce its support for main street small businesses located across 65 southern Ontario communities as part of the My Main Street program, which was implemented to help revitalize business communities through hands-on support and one-time payments. EDCO received $6.5 million as part of an overall $23.25-million investment from the Government of Canada, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), to deliver non-repayable contributions of $10,000 to each of the participating businesses.

Projects:

Funding recipients leveraged the My Main Street community ambassadors, market research reports and contributions to launch or expand their businesses by investing in equipment, leasehold improvements, external façade renovations, inventory, technology and marketing.
